Every author, writes their book which is never really read, for every reader in reading the author's words reads a different book to the one the author intended. That one book becomes as many as there are readers who read it.
Contemporary notions of spiritual development seem to strengthen the very things that ancient forms sought to dismantle. Contemporary formulations appear to focus on saving our "self" while more ancient forms are focussed on saving us from our "self". I wonder what that's about?
